Celebrating Holi: Salty Treats for Celebrating Holi

Holi is just around the corner. Its the festival of colors and delicacies. Here is what is cooking in our kitchen-
Salty Treats for Celebrating Holi

Ingredients:
4 cups  Fine flour (Maida)
3/4 cup Oil 
1 cup Water
1 Tbsp Salt
Pinch of Ajwain( local spice) Optional
Oil for deep frying

Knead the dough by first adding oil to the flour. Later keep adding water for making the dough.
Roll the dough and use various shape cutters.



 You can also cut long rectangles by cutting with knife.
 Deep fry in a pan.

Yummy!

    1. Hey Roopa, We call it Namak parra, which are generally long strips. I too enjoyed using cutters to make these and they turned out pretty delicious!
