The Floating Egg-periment

Here is a simple egg-periment that can be done with Preschoolers.
Have you ever tried sink or float with an egg?

 Take a glass deep dish and fill with water.  We took two eggs. One was the happy face and other was the sad face. We put the Sad face Egg into the water.
Will the egg sink or float?


It sank. Eggs do not float on water.
What if we add lots of salt to water?

 The happy egg is smiling and floating on water.

Fun Fact:
Salt water is heavier than fresh water, so the egg weighs less than the volume of salt water it displaces. As a result, the egg floats.
